Keep Ireland Fracking Free (KIFF) launches logo to celebrate Ireland’s fracking-free status.
Keep Ireland Fracking Free (KIFF) is a network of people in Ireland and abroad who believe that Ireland’s fracking-free status is something to be celebrated, protected, and widely promoted as a selling point for Ireland.
With the “Guaranteed Fracking Free” logo, launched on 7 March 2012, KIFF offers to Irish businesses, the general public, and the Irish Diaspora a visual means of expressing pride in Ireland as a fracking-free zone.
Feel free to use the logo in any way you wish. A version of the logo with the words “Keep Ireland Fracking Free” is also provided for those who may prefer it.
The logo package is available for download here, together with a more detailed explanation of the campaign.

Keep Ireland Fracking Free
As we witnessed at the recent Clare county council meeting our local representatives have listened to our concerns and acted upon them. The ban by the council and an amendment to the County Development Plan do not secure an outright ban on fracking in Clare but have sent a strong signal to the Department of Energy& Communications that unregulated fracking is unwelcome here. The Department have contacted Clare County council to discuss the happenings. The West is awake… and now to the East! Our awareness- raising and lobbying has been effective at county level but we mustn’t stop here. Your continued support is vital.
And so for the update…
